2026 Team VPA Application

The Vegan Powered Athletes (VPA) Team was established in 2021 with a clear mission: to promote the vegan message through the world of sports. Our diverse team includes athletes of all levels—from beginners to seasoned podium finishers—competing in triathlon, running, cycling, rucking, CrossFit, Spartan races, and more. While we train hard and pursue excellence in sport, we also value the journey, the friendships, and the shared commitment to advancing the vegan movement. Whether your motivation is protecting animals, preserving the planet, or improving your health, Team VPA provides a supportive community of like-minded athletes living vibrant, ethical, and vegan lifestyles.


Team VPA is more than fast splits and podiums.  We welcome athletes of all levels and from all countries across the globe. Since its inception, the team’s goal has been to promote an active vegan lifestyle through positivity, education, and inspiration. We believe in meeting people where they are in their individual journeys and demonstrating what vegans can achieve. Our gear plays a vital role in this mission—sparking conversations, planting seeds, and inspiring others wherever our members race and train.


Membership & Gear for 2026

We’re making 2026 all about accessibility, community, and flexibility. Due to the economic uncertainty the country and many athletes are facing, for 2026, returning members won’t be required to purchase gear or a bundle — it’s completely optional but highly encouraged!

New members will still need to select a bundle as part of their team validation.


We’re excited to announce a NEW exclusive gear partner launching in January! There will not be a Voler purchase requirement for 2026. However, you must be an active 2026 Team VPA member to have the opportunity to purchase from the new gear partner so make sure you’re part of the team!  We will not be working with Voler in 2026.

Team VPA Disclaimer & Overview

By submitting your application, you grant Vegan Powered Athlete (VPA) and Team VPA permission to use your image, likeness, or video footage for promotional purposes across social media and websites connected to VPA and Team VPA.


You are welcome to participate in other teams while being a member of Team VPA. There is no requirement to wear VPA gear at races or events, though doing so is encouraged as it helps amplify our mission and the whole purpose of the team. 


Team VPA is first and foremost an ambassador team, created to build community and spread the vegan message through sport and the gear we wear. Team membership does not include coaching or training plans, but members are encouraged to connect, share experiences, and seek advice from fellow athletes and coaches in our private social hub.


Membership runs on a calendar year (January–December), and all athletes reapply annually.


Please note — membership and/or gear purchases are non-refundable.
